After a brief hiatus from all the exciting changes in our lives, we are officially back to doing what we love most…connecting with you!
As we have been actively working on building the GFW community through guest interviews on our podcast, we are settling into a balanced effort of getting back to our writing. We are energized by our commitment to bring you into the fold and experience the value in being a part of the GFW community!

On The Mend hosts Wilderness/Wellness Retreats at various resort lodges in up-state Michigan. The Retreats provide a relaxed and positive environment in which the Participants (and a parent/guardian) are introduced to the fundamentals of various outdoor activities, with an emphasis on fly fishing.
The Retreats are designed to provide the Participants with a healthy distraction from the illnesses, medical procedures and/or challenges they have battled, instill an appreciation of nature, and inspire the pursuit of an active and healthy outdoor lifestyle.
